Er kommt in einer Vielzahl von Formen und Farben vor, von klarem Bergkristall bis hin zu Rosenquarz, Rauchquarz und Amethyst. Quarz besteht aus Siliziumdioxid und kommt sowohl in magmatischem, metamorphem als auch in sediment\u00e4rem Gestein vor.<\/p>\n Gro\u00dfe Vorkommen gibt es in Brasilien, Madagaskar, Indien, der Schweiz und den Vereinigten Staaten.
