Rauchquarz<\/a> ist eine braune bis grauschwarze Quarzsorte, die durch nat\u00fcrliche Strahlung gef\u00e4rbt wird, die auf aluminiumhaltige Einschl\u00fcsse im Kristallgitter einwirkt. Die Farbintensit\u00e4t reicht von leicht transparent bis fast undurchsichtig schwarz, wobei ein glasartiger Glanz erhalten bleibt. Das Mineral wird h\u00e4ufig als polierter Stein oder in Form von Rohkristallen angeboten.<\/p>\n Rauchquarz kommt in vielen Gebirgsregionen vor, mit bedeutenden Vorkommen in der Schweiz, Brasilien, Schottland und Madagaskar.
