Rosenquarz<\/a> ist die rosafarbene Variante des Quarzes, die ihre Farbe Spuren von Titan, Eisen oder Mangan oder mikroskopisch kleinen Fasern eines anderen Minerals verdankt. Die Farbe reicht von zartem Blassrosa bis zu intensivem Rosa und ist in der Regel durchscheinend bis undurchsichtig, mit einem glasartigen Glanz. Rosenquarz wird h\u00e4ufig f\u00fcr Schmuck und als dekorativer Stein verwendet.<\/p>\n Gr\u00f6\u00dfere Vorkommen gibt es in Brasilien, Madagaskar, S\u00fcdafrika und den Vereinigten Staaten. Das Mineral kommt in Pegmatiten und hydrothermalen Adern vor. Seine chemische Formel lautet SiO\u2082 und seine H\u00e4rte betr\u00e4gt 7 auf der Mohs-Skala.
