Manganit<\/a> ist ein Mineral, das zu den Oxiden und Hydroxiden des Mangans geh\u00f6rt. Es kommt gew\u00f6hnlich in Form von dunklen, gl\u00e4nzenden Prismen oder nadelartigen Kristallen mit metallischem bis submetallischem Glanz vor. Seine Farbe reicht von stahlgrau bis schwarz, und in Pulverform weist es eine braun-schwarze T\u00f6nung auf.<\/p>\n Manganit bildet sich in der Regel in hydrothermalen Lagerst\u00e4tten und in den Oxidationszonen von manganhaltigen Erzen. Gro\u00dfe Vorkommen gibt es in Deutschland, S\u00fcdafrika, Brasilien und Ghana.
