Rhodonite Double Butterfly Pendant from China
Rhodonite
Rhodonite is a manganese silicate known for its pink to reddish colour, often with black veins of manganese oxide. The mineral usually forms in metamorphic rocks and is found worldwide. The striking colour combination makes rhodonite popular for decorative applications and jewellery.
Major deposits include Russia, Australia, Sweden and Peru. Its chemical formula is MnSiO₃. Rhodonite has a hardness of 5.5 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale.
Popular varieties are pink rhodonite with black matrix and deep pink to reddish varieties from Russia and Madagascar, among others.

Double-Binder Pendants
The stone cut into double-cylinder is fixed in a silver- or gold-coloured holder with eye. The double-inder has a length of about 3.2 cm, measured without the eye. These pendants are available in various stone types and are supplied individually. Due to the use of natural stone, colour, markings and finish may vary slightly from one pendant to another.
