Brochantite Rough
Brochantite is a copper-bearing mineral formed in areas where copper is present in the earth. The mineral is immediately noticeable for its bright to deep green colour, which is caused by its high copper content. Brochantite usually forms as fine needle-shaped crystals or small crystal bundles on rock.
The mineral is relatively soft and is therefore mainly valued as a collector's item. Specimens from Morocco are known for their strong colour and beautiful crystal structures. Brochantite is a special natural product that is both decorative and geologically interesting.
