Privacy statement

Rusch Minerals Webshop B.V. (hereinafter: RMW) respects the privacy of all customers and visitors to its webshop. We process personal data carefully and only in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG).

2. Purposes of data processing

RMW processes company and personal data exclusively for:

  • Creating and managing customer accounts;

  • processing and dispatching orders;

  • order communication and account management;

  • Sending our newsletter (only after opt-in via Brevo);

  • internal technical logging to keep the webshop functioning properly and to solve problems.

RMW does not sell or rent personal data and never uses it for purposes other than those mentioned above.

3. Types of data

When registering and using our webshop, we may process the following data:

  • Company name, contact name, address, phone number, e-mail address;

  • Chamber of Commerce number and VAT identification number;

  • Login details (username and password, stored encrypted);

  • Order, invoice and shipping information;

  • Technical log data (such as time of login or login attempts).

4. Retention periods

  • Registration forms (even if no account results from them): 30 days.

  • Accounts without orders: removed after 6 months inactivity.

  • Accounts with orders: preserved, as long as necessary for customer service or legal obligations.

  • Order and invoice details: 7 years, in accordance with tax retention obligations.

After these deadlines, data will be deleted or anonymised.

5. Data sharing

RMW only shares personal data with parties necessary for the execution of orders:

  • Buckaroo - for payments;

  • MyParcel - for shipping and address labels;

  • Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) - for newsletters.

These parties process data only on RMW's behalf and in accordance with processor agreements.

6. Security

RMW takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Data is stored in a secure environment, e-mail traffic is via Microsoft Exchange, and our webshop runs on a secure WordPress/WooCommerce installation (SSL-encrypted).

7. Cookies and analysis

Our website uses Google Analytics to analyse and improve the use of the site. This does not involve sharing personal data that can be traced back to individual visitors.
You can manage or delete cookies via your browser settings.

8. Your rights

You have the right to have your personal data:

  • in view,

  • to be corrected,

  • to be removed,

  • or object to processing.

To do so, please send a request to info@ruschmineralen.nl. We will respond within 14 days.

9. Changes

RMW reserves the right to change this privacy statement. The most up-to-date version can always be found on our website.
