Rainbow Moonstone Double Butterfly Pendant from China
Moonstone
Moonstone is a shimmering variety of feldspar, known for the optical effect called adularescence - a soft, luminous glow just below the surface of the stone. The colour ranges from colourless to white, peach, grey or blue, often with a characteristic sheen.
Major deposits include Sri Lanka, India, Madagascar and Myanmar. Moonstone belongs to the orthoclase and albite group within the feldspars, with the chemical formula KAlSi₃O₈. It has a hardness of 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale.
Pink Moonstone, Black Moonstone and Rainbow Moonstone are much sought-after varieties, each with its own gloss effect and colour tone.

Double-Binder Pendants
The stone cut into double-cylinder is fixed in a silver- or gold-coloured holder with eye. The double-inder has a length of about 3.2 cm, measured without the eye. These pendants are available in various stone types and are supplied individually. Due to the use of natural stone, colour, markings and finish may vary slightly from one pendant to another.
