Tiger's Eye Disc: Flower of Life
Tiger's eye is a a golden-brown to golden-yellow variety of quartz with a distinctive silky lustre that appears to shift as you turn the stone. This is called chatoyance (the cat’s-eye effect), caused by trapped fibres that reflect the light. It is mainly found in South Africa, Australia, India and the United States.
The Flower of Life (in Dutch The Flower of Life) is an ancient geometric symbol consisting of nineteen intersecting circles that together form a flower-like pattern. It is regarded as one of the most powerful symbols of sacred geometry. The pattern is thousands of years old and has been found at historical sites all over the world, such as the Temple of Osiris in Abydos (Egypt).
